Chris Martin 'I don't feel famous'

Chris Martin says being married to Gwyneth Paltrow stops him feeling famous.
Despite the worldwide success of his band Coldplay, the Paradise hitmaker who has children Apple and Moses with the actress still feels like the group are trying to make it big and he is always feels less successful than his Oscar-winning wife.
“Ridiculous as it sounds, I still feel like we’re trying to make it,” he said. “I think being married to someone much more famous makes me feel not famous all.”
Despite his feelings, Chris admits his attitude to other celebrities has changed as his own success has increased.
“When I first met Bono, I thought, ‘Wow, this is like an alien speaking to me.’ Whereas everyone has been humanized now,” he said.
Chris also insisted he doesn’t worry about the band being popular, as that would mean he would also have to spend time thinking about the people who don’t like his group.
“It matters to me whether we get some sing-alongs I love that more than anything. But as popular as you are, you’re also unpopular so it just levels out at nothing. If you’re going to respond to the people who think you’re special, then you’re going to have to respond to the people who think you’re not special,” he said.
“I’m so grateful for the people who do like us that I don’t really care about the ones that don’t.”
