Colin Farrell 'E.T made me want to act'

Colin Farrell credits an out-of-this-world experience for helping to launch his Hollywood career.

The Phone Booth star says he would never have started acting had it not been a fan of Steven Spielberg‘s classic alien movie E.T.

“I may have seen E.T when I was seven or eight in a theater,” says Colin.

“I cried and I just loved it. I was just taken away completely to another world. It just inspired in me all sorts of thoughts, emotions, and it has stayed with me very much. E.T did it for me.”
