Kenneth Branagh grateful for prosthetic chin

Kenneth Branagh says the the key to his portrayal of screen legend Sir Laurence Olivier in My Week With Marilyn was his chin!

The British star has revealed a prosthetic chin helped him achieve some sense of Sir Laurence for the movie about Marilyn Monroe‘s time in the UK filming The Prince and the Showgirl.

“The chin piece definitely helped a lot,” says Kenneth. “Olivier had an imperious quality to him. He was used to playing a leader, he was used to playing kings, he was used to being the boss.

“There are pictures of him where he seems stern and possibly authoritarian and the chin helped a little with that.”
