Madonna phones Demi Moore every day

Madonna has been reaching out to Demi Moore following news the actress is divorcing husband Ashton Kutcher.

Sources say the singer is passing down some of the lessons she learned from her own experiences with younger men and credits “spiritual guidance” for getting her through her divorce from Guy Ritchie.

“She is calling Demi almost every day and sends her messages telling her to be proud of her strength and to know that she fought to make her marriage work,” a source said.

“Madonna has had many younger boyfriends so she understands their mindset. She has told Demi that Ashton’s immaturity is evident and that she deserves someone who will fulfil her intellectually and emotionally.”

Madonna recently admitted she was often ridiculed for her appearance when she was at school and didn’t think she could act like “popular” girls so decided to act in an opposite way.

“The boys in my school would make fun of me. ‘Hairy Monster’. You know, things like that,” she said.

“And then, going to high school, I saw how popular girls had to behave to get the boys. I knew I couldn’t fit into that. So I decided to do the opposite. I refused to wear make-up, to have a hairstyle. I refused to shave. I had hairy armpits.”
