Michael Fassbender for Robocop remake?

Michael Fassbender could be about to hit the beat as Robocop.

The Inglorious Basterds star says he is keen to step into the role in a remake of the 1989 movie which starred Peter Weller as a half-man, half-machine law enforcer.

“It could be kind of fun,” says Michael.

“It could be good to have a helmet that I could hide behind, for most of the film, too.

“That sounds kind of appealing. I’ll take a look at the script and sit down with the director and have a conversation. If I react to the script, then I’m up for anything.”
