Selma Blair has not been getting much sleep since her baby was born.
The Dark Horse star admits her three-month-old son Arthur has been keeping her and her fashion designer boyfriend Jason Bleick awake most nights and the parenting-induced insomnia is starting to take its toll on her.
“It’s exhausting. If I could sleep more, I would be the happiest woman in the whole world. I’m not sleeping and it’s showing. But I am so blessed … I am totally going to stop complaining,” she said.
Selma has devised a way to combat her tiredness, however, it doesn’t actually involve her getting more sleep.
“I will just start to buy more make-up!” she quipped.
Despite her slumber struggles, the 39-year-old actress is loving motherhood and has revealed Arthur is already crawling and smiling.
“He smiled the first week. He rolled over and he’s starting to crawl. I’m so in love with him … He makes me happy every day,” she said.
Prior to meeting Jason 22 months ago, the brunette beauty who was married to musician Ahmet Zappa for two years admitted while she was enjoying spending time with her girlfriends, she was still on the lookout for someone who made her feel good about herself.
“I’ve just been reconnecting with my friends. I want someone who makes me feel good, if you know what I mean!” she said.
